In
addition to preparing for a European tour in April/May2007, Gibbs
has been very busy lately with two new projects in which he produced
and wrote all the material.
The first is
"Lucinda
Black Bear" The record is being mastered and will
be available in May 2007." Gibbs wrote and produced all the
songs. The album was mostly recorded at Gibbs home studio with additional
recording done by Quentin Jennings at 475 Studios. The album was
mixed by Ken Rich (Joseph Arthur) and Quentin Jennings (C.Gibbs,
Bee and Flower, Melomane).Besides Gibbs the band consists of Kristin
Mueller (The Caulfield Sisters) on drums, Mike Cohen (The Soft Explosions)
on bass, Chad Hammer (Ray Charles) on cello and Clare Burson on

The
Droves is yet a totally different project completely.
Recorded with fellow Morning Glories drummer Kenny Savelson and
new bassist Gregory McKeegan (Used to be Women). Gibbs and Savelson
reunited with producer/engineer Bryce Goggin (Pavement, Apples in
Stereo,Nada Surf, Akron Family) who they used for "Fully Recorded"
(Morning Glories). Check out their myspace
